"Bri'ish Lessons with..."
I was tasked with creating an animated logo design for Radio 1's "Bri'ish Lessons with...," a fun and engaging social media series where key Radio 1 artists from outside of the UK tried their hand at typical British slang. The logo needed to reflect the playful and light-hearted nature of the content, while staying true to Radio 1’s bold and energetic style. The series featured various artists, including Olivia Rodrigo, whose attempt (below) at British slang became a highlight. The animated logo served as a strong visual identity for the series, helping it stand out across Radio 1's social platforms and drive engagement with audiences. This piece of content was shared with Olivia Rodrigo's official fan account on Instagram, increasing engagement.
Radio 1 Live Lounge 2023 Tattoo Pack
To promote Radio 1's Live Lounge Month 2023, I was tasked with creating a series of custom tattoo-inspired designs to celebrate the incredible lineup of artists, including Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Jorja Smith, Usher, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and more. Each design was tailored to reflect the unique style of the individual artists while maintaining a cohesive look and feel that captured the essence of Live Lounge’s iconic performances. These designs were featured across Radio 1’s social media platforms, generating excitement for the month-long event and the artists involved. The first artist to be announced was Olivia Rodrigo, where her tattoo design was personally brought to her all the way from the UK (!!). This was captured and used as content to promote her Live Lounge performance, sparking lots of engagement and anticipation among her fans. You can watch the video below.

To maintain strong engagement with Radio 1’s core audience, it was crucial to stay on top of key dates such as artist birthdays, anniversaries, and major releases. One way of doing this was to design a series of custom illustrations featuring these artists, such as Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, The Weeknd and many more. These illustrations were then adapted for use across all Radio 1 social channels. This approach not only kept the audience informed and connected to their favourite artists but also increased interaction and share-ability across all platforms.
